When you are ready to take the IELTS test, you need to submit your application and payment in person to the test centre.

Applying for a test

You must submit your application in person to us at our application desk:

Monash University English Language Centre
Building 73 (West Wing), Monash University
Wellington Road, Clayton.

Maps and travel advice are available to help you plan your trip.

Our application desk is open:

• Monday - Friday: 10am - 4pm
• Saturday: 10am - 3pm.

We will give you a receipt confirming the date and module for your test.

Preparing your documents

You will need to submit the following items when you apply:

• completed IELTS application form (pdf, 277kb)
• completed IELTS Form 2 (pdf, 125 kb)
• your valid and original passport
• photocopy of the photo and signature page of your passport
• two recent Australian passport-sized photographs taken within the last six months

Before you have your photo taken, carefully check the photo guidelines. Candidates registering for IELTS must not wear glasses in the photographs they submit with their application.

Organising payment

The fee for the test is $330. Payment options are:

• money order or bank cheque made out to Monash College Pty Ltd
• EFTPOS
• credit card ( Amex and Diners Club are NOT accepted)

We do not accept cash or personal cheques.
