Monash English Online Test

The Monash English Online Test will help you to:

• apply for Monash College or Monash University
• see how long you need to study English
• check your approximate level of English

It is a quick, 15-minute test of your Reading and Language Use skills. There are 25 missing words in the reading text. You will choose the missing words from a, b, c or d.

You will be able to see your score at the end of the test and then look at the Estimation Table to see how your score compares with Monash English levels and how long you need to study English.

Important information 

The test score is an approximation of your English level only and cannot be used as proof of a formal language qualification. Upon arrival at Monash University English Language Centre you will take a full Placement Test and you will then be placed in the best course for you.
