A family to welcome you

Our hosts come from many backgrounds but they all share a strong interest in meeting international students from different cultures. Your homestay host will welcome you into their home and help you adjust quickly to life in Australia.

New friends and local knowledge

Get to know the local area with a helping hand from your host. They will often offer to take you along for family activities. You will meet new people such as family friends and relatives from many different backgrounds. It is not unusual for host families and their students to develop lifelong friendships.

Improve your English every day

English is always the primary language of the home. So you will be able to practise and improve your language skills all the time.

Careful matching

All hosts are screened and must have a Working with Children Check. When we match you with a host we will take into account your medical conditions and preferences wherever possible.
