What if I am under 18?

Monash University has specific accommodation and welfare guidelines for student visa holders under 18 years of age.

Before you can be granted a student visa, your parents must nominate a guardian for you in Australia if you are under 18 and you want to study at Monash.

A guardian must be a parent, custodian or eligible relative over the age of 21 who is staying with you. Your parents can organise a caregiver service to monitor your day-to-day care in your Homestay if you don't have a guardian.
