Monash College to close IELTS Test Centre
Monash College recently announced the closure of its International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Test Centre by the end of 2018.
Monash College CEO Jo Mithen said the decision to close the Monash College IELTS Test Centre was made after careful consideration of a number of factors, including alignment of IELTS testing operations to our strategic plan.
Since the establishment of the Monash IELTS Test Centre in 2006, more than 50,000 candidates have taken the IELTS test administered by Monash College. In May this year the Monash College IELTS Test Centre won the 2018 IELTS Excellence in Quality and Compliance award. We are very proud of these achievements and our contribution to assisting candidates reach their potential.

Ms Mithen said Monash College’s core business strategy remains unchanged in its focus on preparing international students for transition to Monash University, a world top 100 university, and maximise their success in the global job market.
