Cynthia's extensive experience in the tertiary and English-language sectors spans teaching, teacher training, business development and senior management.
Having previously also held senior roles at RMIT University, she brings more than a decade of executive leadership experience to her work at Monash College.
Appointed as Director to our English Language programs in 2012, Cynthia expanded her portfolio to include our Foundation Year programs in 2015 and Diploma pathways in 2018. As Executive Director Pathways, she oversees the strategic direction of these core programs delivered in Melbourne and internationally, ensuring quality curricula, teaching and academic standing, to support student transition to Monash University.
Prior to this role, Cynthia led a major strategic initiative at RMIT that focused on formulating, implementing and evaluating a cross-university English-language strategy to support students in Melbourne and at the University's many offshore locations.
She is currently Deputy Chair of English Australia, the national peak body for Australian English language providers. She has also previously held a non-executive director position on the board of the National English Language Teaching Accreditation Scheme (NEAS).
