Do the assessments have a due date? | Yes. Each course includes assessments that need to be completed by a given due date. These dates are provided well in advance to help you self-manage your learning. |
What if I cannot submit my assessment by the due date? | Your trainer is there to help. Contact them directly and they will help support your learning progress. |
What if I do not pass the assessment? | Your trainer will provide you with feedback and an opportunity to resubmit your assessment if it is not satisfactory. All work must be submitted during the scheduled terms this includes resubmission work which cannot be submitted after the unit has finished. It is the responsibility of the student to submit assessments on time and to allow for time for the assessments to be graded and if required resubmitted. Where special circumstances arise students must notify their teacher on or prior to the due date of the assessment to arrange extensions or special consideration. You will usually need to provide evidence of the special consideration. |

What technology is required for my course? | For this course, you'll need a reliable computer with the following minimum specifications: - Operating System: Windows 10 or later (64-bit) or macOS (Intel based only).

What software will be used during my course? | Software is provided in campus facilities; some software will be provisioned for your personal device setup at home. This may include but not limited to: - Network prototyping tools: Packet Tracer

Do I need to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test? | On your application to enrol, you will be asked several questions around the past education you have completed. Based on the information you have supplied on your application to enrolment form, we may contact you to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy test to ensure this course is the right fit for you. |
Can I apply for direct credit transfer or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)? | Credit Transfer will be awarded where a student has successfully completed units in the qualification. You can apply for a credit transfer for any unit or units in the course that you have previously completed. You will need to provide a Statement of Attainment that lists the unit or units that you have completed as evidence. The RPL process is an in-depth process where you provide evidence to demonstrate your skills and knowledge for each unit of competency for the course. This process is aided by a comprehensive tool in which you locate and provide evidence of your levels of capability in the performance criteria of the course. This is then reviewed by a qualified trainer and assessor to ensure this meets the requirements for your unit. |
What happens if I need to withdraw from the course? | If you wish to withdraw, please contact RTO.Admin@monashcollege.edu.au. Please note, we make every endeavour to support our students in setting them up for success, prior to withdrawal, please make time to speak with your trainer or the course manager who may be able to assist you in options for course completion. |
Where is the course located? | This course is delivered remotely via our online learning platform. you will attend scheduled classes through video conferencing. All of the learning materials are hosted online in the learning management system (LMS) Moodle. During your orientation you will be shown how to access and use the online learning tools. |
