Lantern Festival

Enter the year of the Rat with blessings and good fortune. Come celebrate and join in the festivities at Monash College this month celebrating the Lunar New Year! There will be many activities and competitions running on the day including a lantern quiz and red envelope giveaways.

Harmony Day

The message of Harmony Day is ‘Everyone Belongs’. The day aims to engage people to participate in their community, respect cultural and religious diversity and foster a sense of belonging for everyone. This is your opportunity to showcase your country of origin, feel free to dress up, bring special food or show off a cultural dance!

Easter Event

The Easter bunny is coming to Monash College! Be sure to see him hopping around the campus handing out chocolate Easter eggs. The Student Engagement Team will also be providing students with free hot cross buns.

Self-Care – Mental Health Awareness

Monash College takes the mental health of our students very seriously. This is a time to reflect on the three pillars of health; sleep, exercise and diet. Hosted by the Counselling and Student Engagement teams, this is your opportunity to re-energise and be mindful of the healthy lifestyle options and supports available.

Eid Celebration

Eid al-Fitr is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Join us on this day at Monash College to experience Islamic cultural activities and food.

Tanabata Festival

Join the Student Engagement team and International Christian University study group students from Japan for the Tanabata Summer Festival!

Our study group students will demonstrate traditional Japanese culture including origami, calligraphy, traditional clothing display, cultural presentations, food and more!

R U OK? Day

R U OK? Day is a chance to connect with those around you to check in and ask, "Are you okay?" It is important to share a sense of belonging to others and feel that others are there for us in a time of need. R U OK? Day reaches out to many people who are struggling with mental health.

Mental Health Week

Mental Health Week is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Join us during mental health week to raise awareness of mental health issues worldwide and take part in a number of therapeutic activities.
