Monash Colege celebrates its 30th anniversary.
1994
Monash College established as Monash International Pty Ltd.
1997
The Language Centre opens at Normanby House, Clayton, with 100 students in attendance.
1999
Monash College and Sunway College partnerships begin in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia.
2001
New campus at 49 Rainforest Walk opens but is quickly outgrown due to rapid expansion.
2002
Monash College and Jakarta International College partnership begins, with operations officially expanding into Indonesia.
2005
Monash International Pty Ltd transfers international recruitment and support services to Monash University, focusing exclusively on education delivery.
2005
Partnership with Monash University Malaysia begins.
2007
We are formally known as Monash College after a name change.
2008
Jo Mithen appointed as CEO.
2008
Monash University English Language Centre becomes the largest IELTS testing centre in Australia.
2011
Monash University Foundation Year program moves in-house to 222 Bourke Street.
2012
Monash College consolidates its campuses to Clayton campus from Caulfield.
2012
Partnership with Monash Suzhou begins.
2014
Monash College celebrates its 20th anniversary.
2015
First Bachelor of International Business intake at 271 Collins Street.

Clayton Diploma Village is built.
2016
Student U18 Guardianship service established.

Monash College and Universal College Lanka partnership begins.

Monash College support staff moves to 271 Collins Street due to growth at Clayton campus.
2018
750 Collins Street lease signed, establishing a new campus precinct.
2019
Monash College moves to 321 Exhibition Street.

Monash College celebrates its 25th anniversary.
2020
Development begins at 750 Collins Street.
2021
Monash College established partnerships with Universal College Bangladesh (UCB), Monash Indonesia and Indonesia, and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIM).

Monash College’s 750 Collins Street campus officially opens.

Partnership with Shanghai Normal University Tianhua College begins.

Over 2000 industry placements delivered for seven Monash University Faculties.

Maths diagnostic tool “Passport to Maths” completed by over 4,200 Monash University students in Semester 1, 2024.
