Our Diploma programs offer both domestic and international students guaranteed entry into second year at Monash University for a range of related undergraduate degrees. All you need to do is complete the Diploma with the required entry score.

GUARANTEED COMMONWEALTH SUPPORTED PLACE (CSP)

Domestic diploma students are now eligible for a guaranteed Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) in second year at Monash University.

Choose your study area

Note that if you are interested in studying law, medicine, nursing, health sciences or pharmacy, you’ll need to study foundation year.

Why study a diploma?

Fast track to second year

In part 2 of your diploma, you’ll study the same subjects as first year university students. Some people use this as a fast track, completing first year in 8 months.*

Smaller class sizes

Our small classes mean you will receive individual attention from your teachers. You’ll still study undergraduate level subjects – but the extra support will make sure you are ready for university.

Expert teachers

Our teachers are experts in teaching international students. They will help you develop your academic skills and will provide you with lots of feedback and support.

The Monash College diploma is in two parts. You can start in part 1 or part 2, depending on your academic results.

Admissions Transparency

Monash College admits students from a range of educational pathways into its diplomas. Although an ATAR and an OP (Queensland) score is published for each diploma, students can also be admitted based on previous higher education or vocational education (complete or incomplete) or Yr 11 study. Do you need help with English?

If you don't meet the English language requirements for a Monash College diploma, you can study our 10–20 week Monash English Bridging course before your diploma begins. After successfully completing MEB, you can start your diploma without sitting another IELTS test.

*The Diploma of Engineering (Engineering stream) takes 12 months.
