Are you under 18?
We make sure that if you're under 18, you have all the support you need. We'll send you an Under 18 Welfare and Accommodation Form where you will need to decide on a few things before you can apply for your student visa:
1. Who will be your guardian?
A parent/relative or a Monash College guardian. If you choose to live with a parent or relative, you will need to download form 157N from www.homeaffairs.gov.au and submit it to the Department of Home Affairs.
2. Where will you live?
- Choose from Monash-approved accommodation providers
- Apply for homestay
If you make any changes later, make sure to have them approved to comply with your visa conditions.
3. Next steps
When you accept your offer, you’ll also need to pay the deposits for guardianship and accommodation. The fee for our guardianship service is $11.50 per day.
We will then send you a Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare and your Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment.
