Enrolment and progression
Monash College has policies and procedures relating to student enrolment and academic progress.
There are specific rules around the maximum time that students are allowed to complete their programs, which take into account academic intervention and approved course variations. This table shows the maximum allowable duration:

| Diploma Part 1 and 2 | 6 trimesters, except for Diploma of Engineering with 7 trimesters. |
| Diploma Part 2 | 4 trimesters, except for Diploma of Engineering with 5 trimesters. |
| Foundation | 3 semesters Note that repeating the Extended course will not be counted in the maximum allowable semesters to complete Foundation Year. |
| Monash Advanced Preparation Program (MAPP) | 1 semester No option for students to repeat any units. |
| English language | 2 study periods |
