Renting or house sharing

If you're over 18 years old, you can rent your own place or share with friends. There are many rental properties in Melbourne close to all of our Monash College campuses. Choose a place that’s close to your campus and make sure you visit the property before you sign the lease or pay a deposit. This is a good option if you are comfortable living on your own or have lived in Melbourne for a while.

Facilities: Properties in Melbourne may be unfurnished, partially furnished or fully furnished. Phone, internet and electricity costs are generally not included so you will have to budget for this.

Cost: $250–450 per week (minimum stay of 12 months and depends on location, size and utilities).
