Business

Our Diploma of Business prepares you for a business or commerce degree at Monash University. After successfully completing a Monash College diploma and achieving the required destination degree score, you will have guaranteed entry into second year at Monash University.

There are two streams to choose from – business or commerce – depending on what degree you’d like to study at university. Note, the commerce degrees have higher mathematics requirements, so remember to check the subjects and scores you need for entry.

How the program works

Our diplomas are in two parts, part 1 and part 2. The entry requirements in part 2 are higher. In part 1, you’ll learn about business concepts and theory. In part 2, you’ll study the same subjects as first year university students and develop your specialist knowledge of business or commerce. Assessments include business reports, class presentations, regular tests and a final exam.

DIPLOMA OF BUSINESS
BACHELOR OF BUSINESS

"At home, I was taught to memorise facts without applying it to real life. The learning environment at Monash College is very different! We were provided with learning support and guidance outside of class time, which helped me adjust to the different teaching style. It also helped me learn about Australian learning styles, specific to Monash University."
