Approved options for under 18s
Before you complete your Under 18 Welfare and Accommodation form, you need to decide where you are going to be living. If you have opted for guardianship with Monash College, then you’ll need to select your accommodation from our options below:

It is important to book your accommodation early as places book fast! As soon as you've accepted your offer, start thinking about where you want to live.
City accommodation
Monash-approved accommodation providers are located within a short commute of our Docklands campus.
These are modern apartments offering an independent living style while still providing a safe environment, including 24-hour surveillance systems.
Each provider offers secure, apartment-style living with numerous student facilities along with group activities that help with making new friends. All rooms are fully furnished and the friendly staff are available to assist with settling in.
Iglu
Homestay
Homestay Accommodation gives students the opportunity to experience life in an Australian home and live with a local family. Host locations are within 60 minutes travel time to the campus of study via Melbourne’s public transport system.
Homestay is an approved accommodation for Under 18 students when delivered via Australian Homestay Network only.
Availability for this service is very limited and is subject to approval.
