eExams with online supervision (Docklands campus)

Diploma and Foundation Year final assessments will be an online exam (eExam) using the eAssessment platform.  If you’re enrolled at our Docklands campus, your eExam will be supervised through Monash University’s online supervision platform (eVigilation).

Your exam timetable will be available in Allocate+ and will show you the date, time, location and format of your final assessment.

If you’ve never sat an eExam before, don’t worry the platform is very easy to use!  There are a few things you need to know and do to prepare for this type of assessment.

Hear from our students about eVig:

Monash College online check-in process for students:

This video will show you step-by-step how to log into the eVigilation platform and complete the online check-in steps and start your eExam. You won't be able to practice the online check-in process via eVigilation because it is only activated on exam day.

You can explore the eExam platform functionality and question types by accessing this practice exam. Don’t worry it won't be marked! When prompted, use this password: practice.password

On exam day

  1. 30 minutes before your exam is scheduled to start, log into the eAssessment platform (you’ll need to use Okta multi-factor authentication)
  2. Navigate to your exam and click the Join Supervisor button on the landing page.
  3. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the online check-in process. As part of the online check-in, you will need to present your photo ID to your webcam and take a photo of your face so we can verify your identity.
  4. When you finish the check-in steps, keep the supervision tab open and switch back to the exam tab.  You must keep both tabs open at all times.
  5. If you need assistance during your exam (technical, medical or other) use the webchat function or the Raise Hand button to communicate with your exam supervisor. They will get you the help you need. If you can’t connect to your supervisor or the connection drops out, call the Exam IT Support hotline on + 61 3 9905 4300
