Choose your Monash pathway
We offer three pathways into Monash University Art, Design and Architecture degrees: Foundation Year, Diploma, and the Monash Advanced Preparation Program (MAPP). Each pathway can lead to entry into your chosen degree provided you meet the entry requirements and prerequisites.
Foundation Year
A comprehensive pre-university program where you’ll develop academic skills and English proficiency while studying subjects aligned to your future Art, Design and Architecture degree.
Diploma of Art and Design
Specialise from day one in a program equivalent to first-year university. You’ll build independent learning, critical thinking and decision-making skills while exploring core concepts of art and design. Ideal for students ready for focused discipline-specific study.
Monash Advanced Preparation Program
An accelerated, direct pathway designed to deepen your knowledge in key subject areas aligned with your future Art, Design and Architecture degree. Recommended for Year 12 graduates seeking a fast-tracked preparation experience.
