POLLY HONGYU LENG, CHINA
DIPLOMA OF BUSINESS
BACHELOR OF COMMERCE
SENIOR STRATEGY CONSULTANT AT ERNST & YOUNG PARTHENON

“Monash College gave me the confidence to transition to Monash University and made me comfortable with exploring life in Australia. The teachers at the College understood the difficulty of living in a new country, and by being around people in the same situation, I was able to make long-lasting friends who are now like family.

Today I'm working at Ernst & Young, one of the big four accounting firms – and I probably wouldn't have achieved that without the support from everyone throughout my Monash journey.”

KARUNIA NADI SETIAWAN, INDONESIA
MONASH UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION YEAR (EXTENDED)
BACHELOR OF COMMERCE

"Monash College and Monash University have helped me to gain communication and leadership skills, as well as developed my critical-thinking skills, so I can pursue my dream job as a financial consultant. The Foundation Year program and the way of teaching at Monash College have helped make an easier transition into Monash University. I have also become more open to various cultures and have helped out in the community since coming into Monash.”

How we teach

SURESH PERERA
TEACHING AND LEARNING TEAM LEADER
DIPLOMA OF BUSINESS

"To explain marketing concepts, we use real-life examples of products and brands, such as Coca-Cola, Honda and Apple. Teachers bring sample products to class, and use the Internet and videos to show you how marketing is used in practice. With this approach, you can understand how the theory works in the market. It helps you learn as you can relate to your own shopping and buying decisions."
