Recommended minimum device specifications
At the Monash College students should bring their own device to classes and assessments. A ‘device’ refers to a student-owned laptop that meets the minimum specifications outlined by eSolutions, Monash University.
It is absolutely essential that you bring your laptop to orientation as we will need to ensure you can connect to all Monash College systems.
We recommend that your laptop has the following minimum specifications. Note one additional and important specification: Operating system and software must be English versions.
Students are expected to attend classes with fully charged laptops (see recommended laptop specifications below) and their own power pack should they wish to use them.
Monash College is not responsible for supplying power packs and other electronic devices. Students are not allowed to charge laptops in the classroom.
