Monash College announces new China partnership

CEO Jo Mithen recently signed a new China partnership with Virscend Education to provide the Monash University Foundation Year program in Chengdu and Kunming from January 2019.

The Monash University Foundation Year program specialises in preparing students to transition to Monash University undergraduate degree programs delivered in Australia and Malaysia.

Virscend Education’s strong focus on educational outcomes for K-12 students is a perfect fit with Monash College’s long standing reputation for developing high-performing international students.

This is Virscend Education’s first Australian international pathway program and will help Chinese students prepare for their successful study at Monash University while still being close to home, said Ms Mithen.

Ms Mithen said the five-year agreement would enable Chinese students to prepare for their successful study at Monash University while still being close to home.

The Virscend partnership expands on  Monash College pathway programs already delivered in Malaysia, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
